OB Hospitalist Call Coverage (Locums)- Melrose, NM

Annual Birth Rate: 1000/year

Dates: June 13-26, July 2-5, 23, and ongoing shifts

Duration: Ongoing call shifts through the rest of the year

Phase 1 physician will be responsible for the unit in addition to GYN emergencies

No elective surgeries are scheduled for the next 120-days, so will truly be managing triage with nursing, deliveries, and emergencies.

Responding to medicine consults on the floor and main ED.

Estimated Volume: 3-4 deliveries/day, 5 triage patients/day, and 1 ED Consult/day.

Can work back-to-back here during this period.

Credentialing timeframe: 1-day if a physician can turn around paperwork (They will grant temps)
