Role Summary: Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.
Number of Beds per Unit: 94
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4 for medical patients, 1:6 or 7 for behavioral health patient area, 1:7 Vertical Treatment Area (area like fast track where patients who can sit vertical sit in recliners).
Reason for vacancy: Regular turnover, COVID related childcare issues, career development/progression, relocation
Willing to consider new grads (Y/N): NO – MUST have ED experience
Willing to consider candidates with strong experience in a non-acute setting (Y/N): NO– ED experience a must
Skills from other units that they feel will prepare the candidate for their unit: EMS or ED background is a MUST. Urgent Care experience may also be considered if sufficient amount of time at one and depending on the area

Available shifts: 1p-1a, 11a-11p, 7p-7a, 3p-3a (nights HIGHLY preferred)
Preferred Education: Master’s in Nursing.
Required License or Certifications: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider.
Preferred License or Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty.
Required Experience: One-year acute care hospital nursing experience.
Compensation Details (Salary, Sign-on, Relo Asst. Shift diff, benefits, etc.):
Min: 24.00 (0-2 yrs. nursing experience), mid: $35.84 (10 YOE) per hr; max: $45.27 per hr. (25 YOE).
Shift diffs: 2:30p-11p is extra $4/hr. and 11p-7a is extra $6/hr. and weekend is Fri 7p-Mon 7a an extra $3.50/hr.
